Tree plantation

Tree plantation
Formerly the Dogon Country was wooded. These woods were cut to grow millet. Even though beautiful trees are dotted in the fields, the desert is gaining ground every year. It is time to replant trees and give freshness and natural resources to people and the environment.

We started planting trees in the village, especially on the school grounds. These are mango trees, caecides, flaming and neem. Everyone wants to plant fruit trees in the courtyard of the houses or in the gardens outside the village.

Trees can provide shade, wood for construction and for cooking and food for animals.
Currently we are right in the period to plant. Let’s do it!

Together we can really make a difference, mail to coenengelhard@gmail.com
